Jurassic Park without dinosaurs is still dramatic somehow

 
 
Was Jurassic Park really about the dinosaurs? Or was it more of a parable about human ambition, our inability to control the environment, etc., etc.?

Either way, William Hirsch of the YouTube channel Vidsplode took an iconic clip from the film and removed the beasts from the equation. Fittingly named just "Park," the story's now about paleontologists who are amazed by the beauty of a rather nice park.

Chris Barnicle finished last at Saturday's trials for the male U.S. Olympic marathon team, but the dude who calls himself the "world's fastest stoner" definitely takes first place in our hearts. These have got to sting. While no one would likely list getting fired as an enjoyable experience, some employees have been shown the door in particularly cruel — and public — circumstances. Take Rick Tyler, the former spokesperson for Republican White House hopeful Ted Cruz. Over the weekend, Tyler posted a link to a story and video published in University of Pennsylvania's student newspaper The Daily Pennsylvanian that purported to show Cruz's rival, Senator Marco Rubio, telling a Cruz staffer that the bible didn't have many answers in it. But Rubio's camp said the senator didn't make any such comments. Tyler apologized on Sunday night. But the damage was done: Cruz dismissed Tyler on Monday. While most agree that Tyler had erred, some were frustrated in the way in which the spox heard the news: in public, right before he was scheduled to make an appearance on MSNBC on Monday.
